Android screen time
Optional usage access lets Stats show Social media, Block apps or All screen time. Social media includes the seven listed social apps, including messages. Block apps covers ordinary active Blocks rules, separately from Work and Schedules. All screen time measures recorded foreground app time, including Home, Settings and SwipeLess; it is not every moment the display is on. Android may count an app underneath a blocking overlay.
Blocking still works without usage access. Turning access off stops refreshes and leaves previously saved readings on your phone.
Time for a limit
The time counted for Minutes a day or short turns follows the chosen app or feed target. Those totals are different from whole-app Android screen time; they are not all phone use.
Work time and protected time
Work time records Work intervals, excluding planned breaks and manual pauses. Overlap counts once. Protected time records when selected apps are protected and can include pauses while they stay blocked. Neither measure proves attention or productivity.
Periods, daily averages and comparisons
Choose a calendar week, month, quarter or year, and switch between Line and Bars. The daily average describes the fully measured days in that period. The comparison separately names the matching days and their daily averages, so its percentage may differ from a comparison of the two overall period averages.
Missing or incomplete readings are marked, never silently counted as zero. Comparisons exclude today and use matching, fully measured days for the same scope. App details and the separate Weekly review explain their own measurement coverage.
On your phone and in account backup
Daily measurements are kept on your phone. If account backup is enabled, selected daily totals and saved reports also go to your SwipeLess account. Raw Android usage events are not uploaded. You can pause backup in Settings; pausing does not delete previously saved cloud data.
The phone’s measurement cache covers up to 90 calendar days. Available older saved reports can load from your account. The browser demo uses labelled example measurements; it does not read your phone. Read the full policy, deletion steps and recovery limits.
