Add websites to Blocks, or let a selected app rule cover its recognised web version.

Add a website

  1. Open Blocks

Find the Websites section and enter a domain or link, such as reddit.com.

  2. Choose its boundary

Open the website’s settings and choose a block, daily minutes or short turns.

  3. Save and check

Save the rule and check it in a supported browser. The ordinary seven-day rule for making Blocks settings looser applies to websites too.

App rules also cover the web

A selected app’s rule also covers its recognised web version. The app compares the visible address bar with your selected targets; it does not scan the web page or keep browsing history.

Browsers listed as tested

Chrome, Samsung Internet, Firefox, Edge, Opera and DuckDuckGo are listed as tested in SwipeLess. Brave has not been verified yet. Browser updates, other versions, installed web apps and links opened inside another app may behave differently.

The compatibility guide separates the browser list from dated feed checks. If a rule does not close a page, use the blocking checklist to check the service, allowance and visible address.

What is read?

The address is read only when a selected website rule or limit can apply. It is compared on your phone and discarded, without saving a browsing history. A focused address field while you type is not used. Read the full app privacy policy.

Protection requires the installed Android app. Coming to Google Play for Android. See availability.
